President Regina Peruggi launches Kingsborough's new website as staff members Asif Hussain, Tom Friebel, Loretta Dilorenzo, Bill Keller and Hallory Paul look on.

Kingsborough Community College (KCC) President Regina Peruggi today launched a new website for the college at www.kbcc.cuny.edu.  The website went live at 2:15 p.m. The dramatically redesigned site was created by a KCC website committee  led by Thomas Friebel, dean of Enrollment Management and Asif Hussain, chief information officer, with the professional services of  Computer Generated Solutions, Inc.

The new website features richer and expanded content as well as substantially improved navigational qualities.  The site’s homepage welcomes visitors with a clean, concise and uncluttered design, making the college’s presentation of its extensive resources more appealing and accessible to its diverse virtual audience.

The restructured site is designed to offer internet, intranet and student portal.  Phase one, which went live today, offers the internet and  intranet.  The student portal, phase two of the site, will go live at a date to be announced.

“The new website is comprehensive, much easier to navigate and will greatly enhance the experience of our online visitors as well as faculty, staff and students seeking information from  www.kbcc.cuny.edu.  I congratulate the digital team and the committee on the quality and user friendliness of this site,” said President Peruggi.
